What We Will Accomplish

Our team will guide students through the most important parts of the college application process with four focused bootcamps:

  • Common App Activity List Bootcamp: Learn how to strategically present extracurricular activities, leadership, impact, and accomplishments in the limited Common App format.
  • Common App Bootcamp: Navigate every section of the Common App with confidence, including profile details, academics, testing, honors, activities, and application strategy.
  • Introduction to the College Essay Prompts & How to Brainstorm: Explore the Common App essay prompts, discover meaningful personal stories, and develop strong brainstorming techniques to uncover authentic essay topics.
  • UC Application Bootcamp (Forms + Activity List): Complete the UC application efficiently while learning how to optimize the UC activities section and understand key differences between the UC and Common App applications.

  • Format: Hands-on workshops, strategic brainstorming, and real-time application building.
  • Note: Online versions of these bootcamps are happening on June 7th, June 28th, August 2nd, and August 16th. An online version of bootcamp 3 took place on May 17th. If you attend these bootcamps in person, then you do not need to attend the online ones. Attending either the in-person or online versions of these bootcamps is mandatory for rising 12th graders so that they can be well prepared to work on their college applications.

For more than a decade, Calla has guided students through the college admissions process, helping them gain acceptance to highly selective universities. Her expertise includes academic planning, extracurricular development, college list strategy, and application coaching.

At this event, Calla will discuss how students can build a compelling profile over time, identify meaningful opportunities, and develop a clear narrative that stands out in competitive admissions. She will also share practical guidance on when students should begin preparing, what colleges are looking for today, and how families can approach the admissions process with greater confidence and clarity.

Henry Munk
Director of Student Success

With more than 12 years of experience in college admissions counseling and student advising, Henry has helped hundreds of students gain admission to top universities. As a former school counselor and AP World History instructor, he brings a deep understanding of both the academic and personal factors that contribute to student success.

At this event, Henry will share what he's seeing in today's admissions landscape, what top students are doing differently, and how families can make strategic decisions about academics, extracurriculars, summer opportunities, and college planning. He will also discuss trends affecting applicants to competitive programs such as Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Political Science, and Pre-Med.

For more than 12 years, Katie has helped students navigate the competitive college admissions process and gain admission to highly selective universities. Her expertise includes academic planning, major exploration, extracurricular development, college list strategy, application positioning, and essay coaching.

At this event, Katie will discuss how students can identify their strengths, build a cohesive academic and extracurricular profile, and make intentional decisions throughout high school. She will also share practical guidance on choosing a major, positioning activities and coursework effectively, and developing a compelling narrative that stands out in today's admissions landscape.
