Initiative Overview

PathIvy Dream Scholars is a program designed to empower high-achieving 11th graders and rising seniors as they navigate the competitive college admissions process.

With a blend of expert-led workshops and one-on-one counseling sessions, students will gain the insights, skills, and support they need to unlock their full potential and make their academic dreams a reality.

Distinct from our personalized college guidance services, PathIvy Dream Scholars is a fully philanthropic initiative, empowering well-deserved and under-resourced students. By investing in these scholars, we hope to foster a more diverse, inclusive, and equitable academic landscape.

MENTORSHIP

How to Get Started with PathIvy Dream Scholars

We’ll guide you every step of the way to help you achieve the most impactful and best-fit project as you prepare for your college applications.

Step 1 | June – August 2026

Virtual College Admissions Bootcamp

A structured, interactive series of workshops led by experienced college counselors. Dream Scholars will learn about essay writing, application strategies, activities lists, and more.

Step 2 | June – November 2026

Personalized College Counseling

 Each Dream Scholar will choose between two support options:

  • 10 one-on-one college counseling sessions with a dedicated admissions expert,

    or

  •  2 one-on-one sessions with a dedicated admissions expert plus 1 in-depth application review with a former admissions officer (FAO).

Both options are designed to help students refine their applications and strengthen their overall college strategy.

Step 3 | November 2026 - January 2027

Application Submission

By the end of their selected support track, Dream Scholars will be prepared to submit their college applications. Counselors can provide ad hoc touch-and-go guidance to reassure students.

Celebrate the Dreams

No matter the Dream Scholar’s results, we celebrate their achievement and dedication, offering guidance on enrollment decisions for this pivotal moment in their journey.
